Diane White

Nurse Practitioner

I was born and grew up in Beech Grove, IN. After high school I attended Indiana University and received my Associate Degree in Nursing. I worked at St. Francis Hospital in their Intensive Care Unit. I continued working in various nursing positions in a couple of different hospitals until I decided to go back to Indiana University and get my Bachelor of Science Degree, Nursing Major graduating in 1981. I worked at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical for next 12 years and I decided to go back and get my Master of Science Degree, Adult Nurse Practitioner for University of Maryland graduating in 2001. I worked in Employee Health for Washington Adventist Hospital for about 1½ years before moving to Goshen, IN. I was the Interim Director of Wellness and Health Center at Goshen College from November 2005 until July 2006 and then became the Director in June 2007. In June 2011 I moved to Indianapolis and have been volunteering my nursing skills at Trinity Free Clinic.

I have previously been on two boards. I was on the board of MDC Goldenrod Goshen for 4 years and the Chair of the Development Committee for 3 years. Prior to that I was on Jubilee Association of Maryland Board for 9 years. I was secretary for 6 years and Chair of the Development Committee for 5 years. I was also very active in Bethany Christian School while my children attended. I was PTO president for 1 year and the vice president for a year.

I feel connected to uLEAD’s three Vital Initiatives and six Core Principles and I am hopeful that organizations like uLEAD will have “a lasting change on people’s lives”.
