WHY DOES ULEAD FRAME WHAT WE DO AS EXPERIENCES?
The American Heritage Dictionary defines Experience as "active participation in events or activities leading to the accumulation of knowledge or skill". At uLEAD we take “active participation” seriously, which means we are all about getting people moving and participating together in the learning process. The old saying states that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” At uLEAD, we take this one step further: “If a picture is worth a thousand words, then an experience is worth a thousand pictures.”
Recent brain research confirms that learning and retention are connected with physical movement. People learn best while doing something - being physically, socially and mentally involved in shared experiences with others.
All uLEAD experiences are intentionally designed with activities and initiatives that engage people in thinking, feeling, doing, and being.
Core outcomes of uLEAD experiences include:
- Building community/relationships on your team.
- Creating space to experience fun and laughter.
- Discovering and valuing your unique design and skills.
- Renewing passion for accomplishing your mission.
