Break up into groups of 5-7. Without showing each other their cards and without talking, they must line up in order of smallest card (A or 2) up to the largest card (K or A). Instruct them that if there are ties, break up by the first letter of the suit (C [lubs], D[iamonds], H[earts], S[pades]). Once they think they have it right, have them lay down their cards. The group with the closest to correct order wins.
Have the group discuss barriers in communication. What was the most difficult part of this activity? What frustrated you the most?
